 My #1 wish for a Battlefield park that unfortunately due to a combination of private ownership, poor local economy, and perhaps lack of publicity has not been restored: Champion Hill-the battle that doomed the Confederacy to a slow lingering death.

 LOL! man oh man I would have freaked out if I'd walked through one of those. But once again see how inadvertantly educational battlefield tromping can be? Now I know something about spiders. I also Learned that MS has 10 varieties of poisonous snakes.....! That would be my other phobia....:-(

 Thanks! and stay tuned my friend....I'm starting to plan my next major journey and it seems to me a trip to Gettysburg via the route through TN is likely. It'll be a couple of years though since the Japan trip next year is going to be pretty expensive.
