a offshoot of jubal earlys raid into maryland july 1864 was the johnson-gilmor raid,gilmor column lost one man killed[this story is well known [ishmeal day incident]johnson's column lost one killed,he was a lt from charles county md in 1st md cav shot dead while recon a blockhouse near elysville md[also called alberton and later daniels,it part of patapsco river state park which is the border of baltimore and howard counties]apparently from papers in brad johnsons papers his last name was edelin,my question is anyone out there familiar with this story.what was his ist name any edelin decendants out there?
