Hello!  I am new to the site.  My 12 yr old son is a civil war buff.  I took him to Andersonville GA to see the Civil war prison/POW Museum.  I made a video of the pictures we took if you would like to view them.  Thanks, Lorilynn

Thanks Javal1  :-)

We went to Arlington Cementary two years ago and I was going to upload a link to those pictures as well.  Did you like the video method or do you think most people would prefer to look at the single pictures?

I have always been facinated by Cemetaries.  They hold so much history.  I lived near Stones River Battlefield in TN and currently live in GA close to Kennesaw Battlefield and Pickett's mill.

I was born in Michigan and but have always loved the south.  There is just SO MUCH more culture and history here than up North and sadly many people are so unaware of it.  I believe things would be much better today if people paid attention to lessons from the past.

Thanks,

Lorilynn

My wife and I were in Andersonville this past summer and viewed the marker of a great-great uncle who died there.  These picture are excellent, but like so much else to be there in person adds so much more.  Thanks.
