here are the first couple of batches of pics I've had time to edit etc.
The National cemetery at Murfreesboro:

And for those who've read "Stealing the General"

some of these are a bit inconsistent quality-wise..I've been learning manual digital photography and I didn't always remember to reset my white balance...hence I had to do a bunch of Photoshop work to make these presentable. but don't worry my next batches are much better: Stones River and a massive photo study of Chickamauga...some of which I'm actually proud of LOL!

Just glad to have something to contribute. I absolutely love shooting ACW battlefield pics. In fact it's one of the major reasons I take these trips. Hopefully my skills as a photographer are improving through sheer repetition...I took around 500 pics this time out.

Nice pics!  I've never used photobucket.  How do you like it?  I've been using Triond for my pics and videos but may try it.  I use memory manager for correcting my photos I love the program but had to switch computers recently and my files didn't transfer properly.  :-(

thanks! I love photobucket. Not only does it allow you to bulk upload and separate into albums and slideshows, but it also includes some basic photo editing tools. Personally I prefer Arcsoft Photo Studio 6 for my touch up and editing work. It's like a more user friendly version of Adobe Photoshop...but at a third of the cost.
