Dear Civil War Enthusiasts,

I wanted to let you know that I published a narrative on the Maryland Campaign and the Battle of Antietam. September 17 was the 147th anniversary of the Battle of Antietam - the single bloodiest day in American hisory. Please take some time to read my article and let me know what you think of it. If you register for a free WordPress account, you can leave comments on my article directly on my blog. By doing this, everyone will get to read your comments. There are directions on my blog.

Watch in the coming days for a photo essay on Andersonville Prison and a review of Eric Wittenberg's newest book on Colonel Ulric Dahlgren. I will message you when these articles are published.
