 Dear Civil War Enthusiasts,

I wanted to let you know that I have published a review on Eric Wittenberg's newest book, "Like A Meteor Blazing Brightly: The Short But Controversial Life of Colonel Ulric Dahlgren."  Wittenberg, the best selling author of 15 Civil War titles was recently honored when the book he co-authored with J. David Petruzzi, "Plenty of Blame to Go Around: Jeb Stuart's Controversial Ride to Gettysburg," was included in the "Top 50 Greatest Books on the Civil War" by Old Baldy Civil War Roundtable of Philadephia.

Included in my review of Wittenberg's new book is a 50+ minute interview.  In the interview Eric provides a lot of behind the scenes information on his newest book and a look at what he has in the works.  Please take some time to read my review and listen to my talk with Eric.  Also, if you register for a free WordPress account you can leave comments about the article and interview, on my blog.  I'm sure Eric will be watching the comments, and reply to any questions you might have for him.
