Has anyone been to Vicksburg lately? In 1974 my dad took us to Ft Donelson, Shiloh, and then Vicksburg (the song Sweet Home Alabama was played constantly on the radio..to this day everytime I hear it I think of the those Civil War battlefields). Have they, like Gettysburg, tried to restore Vicksburg to its 1863 setting? Last edited on Sun Jan 22nd, 2012 11:21 am by BHR62 |

Wars claim lives. Wars are not liked by many in the society and with the passage of time with the development of new and dangerous weapons, wars are the most haunted of all the horrors. Wars, when broke, not only take lives but also take decisive steps towards one group giving the losses and the humiliation to the other group. Same happened in civil war. Civil War Facts
