It occured to me today that I was very fortunate in 2006 to be able to visit various Civil War sites and wanted to share my photos with everyone. http://photos.yahoo.com/firstbase31 March-- Gettysburg, PA (click on Gettysburg folder) May-- Carnifex Ferry, WV (West Virginia 5/06 folder) September-- Antietam, MD and Harpers Ferry, WV (Antietam/Harpers Ferry folder) December-- Fort Fisher and Averasboro, NC (NC 12/06 folder) I had a pretty good year and would like to hear how others feel about 2006. Paula it may just be me but I didn't find the N.C. folder. I was at Bentonville this year in the pouring rain and eaten alive by mosquitos at Fort LaMar near Sucessionville , and cried seeing the Hunley. I also worked at the Drum Barracks booth at several reenactments . It was a good year.
