 Howdy, y'all!!

 

I want to put a pic up as my avitar, but I don't know much about this new fangled computer.....

How do I reduce the size to that appropriate to post? For example, how do I get it 64 x 64 and the right "pixel", or whatever it's called....???

 Welcome Albert,

How big is your picture now? Is it in digital form, or are you scanning it? If you own any graphics program (PhotoShop, PaintShop, etc) you can just put it there and resize it. Or go to http://www.gifworks.com/image_editor.html and follow the directions there.

 It's 190 x 215 and 120 kb.....what ever any of that means!!

I tried to include it as an attachment to this post, but I got an error message saying it was too big....

I tried reducing it, but all I managed to do was goof it up.....I also tried photbucket, but I couldn't get it to be the right size......
