Can any tech whiz here tell me why I have this wierd problem at CWi that in order to log onto the Message Board, but not the Trivia Question, I have turn off my computer and boot it back up? It isn't even enough just to log off AOl and log back on. I have to shut the darned thing off.
Hubby and I share the same computer but we each have separate e-mails and sign-on names...if that makes any difference.
I haven't a clue why this problem should be happening. It doesn't happen on other message boards. Can anybody help me out?

I'm looking into this, but more details would indeed help. Any error messages? What browser do you use? What OS? The more details the better, though I have to admit this is a new one to me....

Thanks Duncan and Javal. I have a Dell compuer with Windows XP and Pentium 4 processor. AOl is my INternet rpovider but we connect through Bell SOuth for high speed. We have Norton Anti-Virus and Defender anti-spyware.
When I go to the CWi Home Page and click on "Come on In" I can see in the upper left hand indicator that I am not logged in. So I try to log in and I still can't log in. I get a notice about "cookies' or something similar, but I don't know what to do. So if I click off AOl and turn off the computer, click back on, go back on AOL, I can come back to CWi and, lo and behold, I am already looged in as Cleburn Fan!
One last detail. Hubby and i both use the same E-mail account with different names and e-mail. When he switches over form his name to mine, when he is done with his work, that is when I cannot log onto CWi. It is so wierd, because I can do the Trivia with no problem at all under any circumstances.
Computers are crazy things!!!

Thanks again, Duncan. Mr Fan knows less about computers than I do and that isn't much. I'm certain he doesn't know how to mess with cookies. (Nor do I.) I do like your idea of marking the Message board as a favorite. I hope AOL will allow me to do that because I already have the CWi Home Page as a favorite. AOL has a rude way of not allowing the use of two faves with the same address. But I will definitely try that and see if it works. It certainly seems like the simplest solution if it will work.
