News hasn't been updated either. The discussion board was acting screwy yesterday early so Joe's probably working some problems and will let us know when he gets back to speed, he usually has things under control within 24 hours.

This happened last year. I believe a major thunderstorm knocked out all the computers at the compound and it took a few days for Joe to get a message thru. How's the weather been out that way?

I may be wrong, but doesn't Mr. Joe mention Mrs. Laurie, his wife? And, his son? Since anyone close to Mr. Joe would know how important the board is to him - someone would have posted something by now if it was Joe's health.
Like I said, this happened last year, and Tennessee has not had an easy time, weather-wise.

No trivia for 2 days now. I was hoping by now Joe would have posted a notice here. Last year when the trivia was down I think we were able to find out what was wrong. Do I remember one of the group calling him?

Yes I think someone did , but his number is no longer up on the website like it was last year. I had thought about calling him and asking if everything is okay. I met him last year at Muster. But then I looked and I don't have his phone number. Oh well. Hopefully it is just computer problems and that everyone is okay.

Just spoke to Joe via telephone. He and his family are OK. Lost his telephone,router, and many household appliances from bad lightning strike from Sunday(?) and just got telephone service back tonight. Hopes to have new router soon and possibly back in the saddle by sometime Friday.

Don thanks for calling Joe. Seems like last year when this happened it was expensive for him to get all the equipment up and running after lightening strike.
We all enjoy this site . We don't have to pay to belong . Maybe if everyone chip in something to help Joe replace what was lost it would help him out . The address is on the home page if you send him a check. There use to be a paypal link but don't know if it transfered.
What does everyone think? Donate what you can to help our fearless leader out . You know how much we all missed the news and TRIVIA!!! Let him know by donating to the cause.

Thanks Don, I had located a phone number, but not sure it was correct, glad someone else took the initative, from the sound of things his damage is not as severe this time, but there is a reason for the hearsay rule.
