I haven't heard anything about weather-related issues in Tennessee, but that doesn't mean there weren't any. Maybe the server's down again.

Joe? Anyone? Let us know you're all right. We're beginning to worry about you!

I'm getting worried too and really hope it's only a server outage, and that we'll soon hear from you Joe!

I have been thinking of calling him but worried that if he is sick in bed I would just be disturbing him. Maybe I should wait until tomrrow when his wife and or son should be home, any thoughts about that plan from anyone?

Dennis sounds like a good plan this is the second full day with nothing .  Makes you kind of concerned.  We may not know each other in real life but have formed a group of friends on here .  Since Joe has been ill reecently it does concern us I am sure that he has not posted anything .  Hoping it is the server and not him.

We did have severe storms move thru the entire midwest yesterday. I know in the past Joe has indicated that they usually seek shelter (sometimes in another town) due to the numerous trees they have around there home.

Like everyone else...hoping it is nothing serious and only weather related or server problems. Let us know Dennis if you have any luck with the phone call.

Just returned from a five day trip today and see that there is concern, so let me add my concern too. I didn't realize there was a problem until now, but I certainly do hope everything is OK and that it is either just an electrical outage or a server problem. This is a great web sit I discovered only six months ago. I would miss everone so much if CWi should experience difficulties.

I'd say that sounds like a good idea. Give things one more day before we go into a full-blown panic mode. Poor Joe. He's probably reading all our posts and gnashing his teeth because some technical problem isn't letting him update or post on the site. Sure hope that's all it is!

There were problems with the server Wednesday night.  I may have been the only one on-line at the time, but  I couldn't navigate through the site.  Everytime I clicked on "trivia" or the discussion board, I got timed-out and a message indicating that the server was having problems.  It cleared up in about 2 hours.

Hopefully, this is just - as before - a server problem.  However, I am with the rest of you in watching anxiously.

(If you're watching the posts and gnashing your teeth, Hi Joe!)

Definitely sounds like you were experiencing server problems the other night. I've had similar experiences on another board whenever the server decides to act up.

Yeah, Joe. If you're reading this...get the problem fixed and get back over here!

We miss ya! :(

Joanie that must have been right after I signed off as you were on at the same time I was.  I didn't have any problems that night .  Hopefully that is the problem but yes Dennis please be the checker and let us know how Joe is .  We will all be hanging on waiting to hear .

Susan - I've been trying to pinpoint the time, but my "history" (of the sites I visited) only goes back one day.  I was up into the very wee hours watching over my daughter, who had a bad case of the flu, and wasn't really paying attention to time.  It was definitely pretty late when the server problems occurred; but that's all I know.  (Because I have unlimited minutes, I usually just leave my computer on-line even when I'm not using it, so it often appears that I'm on-line when it's only my computer that is;  thus, I can't check a log of the times I was on-line to pinpoint when the server problems that I encountered occurred.)

Joanie I am usually up very late and read and post but don't remember exactly when I signed off Wednesday night.  I did  notice there were three of us listed as being on the website when I was on.   I didn't have any problems with the site. Depends on where you are how late , late is .  I am on the West Coast so I could have been on after the server problem .  I am a night owl and retired.  Let's just hope that is the problem and Joe is fine.

That's great news! Glad it was only a modem and nothing more serious. Whew! No wonder he couldn't even post!

Whenever you make it back here, Joe, at least you'll see how much we care! :)

Dennis first of all thank you for being our designated caller .  Better to have one person checking on Joe than all of us trying to get a hold of him.  Secondly I have never been so glad to hear about a modem frying.  It is a relief to know that is the problem and not that Joe has had a relapse.

Joe when you are back on line Welcome back we all missed you .  So glad you are okay .

:):D:D:D:):D:):D:):D:):D:) this is the boardmembers welcoming you back.
