I just joined today but I've known about this nice site for a while. I'm Terry from Evansville, Indiana, right on the MD line. I'm a yankee by birth and choice. Abe Lincoln's boyhood home is 20 miles east of here in Spencer County. Henderson, Kentucky is 10 minutes from here and I grew up listening to folks who spoke about which side they preferred in the great Civil War. I got a good deal of education from both sides I think. This was "butternut" country during the war, and at any reenactment around here you'll usually see more folks rooting for the Johnnies than the Billies. Anyway, nice to be here.  Terry
