Hi Susan!!! I don't remember that series, but I do seem to remember a Disney series or episode about Johnny Clem, the "drummer boy of Shiloh". I think that Kevin Corcoran played Clem and I seem to remember Brian Keith as a union sergeant. I do wish that someone would bring these old shows and series back somehow.

Reb.  I own both the Disney Mosby film and the Johnny Shiloh film and yes Bian Keith is in it and Moochie.  I also own Great Locomotive Race.    The first two are Vhs I found used on Amazon.com used books and videos.  I also got the Buster Keaton film the General that way too.    I still haven't watche the Mosby film but have the others.

I wish I could find a copy of the old Mosby tv series and The Rebel with Nick Adams which was my favorite western when it was on ,

Susan

Hyeh, we have a generic name going here now! Rebel Yell, RebtilDeath, and me are all being variously addressed as "Reb" (mostly by the Yankees)! I honestly think this is cool!

Awwww, Dixie,

Let me introduce you to one of my favorite phrases:

" I Hate Men!" Also, "Men Suck" works.

The boy just pro'bly got an X-box or something - teenage guys have the attention span a new-born bunny.

I'm so glad we aren't guys. They're so lug-headed, it hurts us a little more early in life.... but then, they have to catch up, ROFL!

And, My Little Sister, I'm all Southern!  If looking at me doesn't bring them to their knees, My wit and feistiness and determination will!  Just like you, Young Dixie Belle!

Bama , I visited that monument and graves on my Andrew's Raiders trip from Chatanooga to Atlanta.  I love the General on top of the monument.  I saw the tunnel and  the two engines.   Wish I had had the book I bought later that shows where all the markers are along the route.  Need to go back again !!!

Seventeen ways a cucumber is better than a man is not a recommended guideline for a young lady preparing herself for the way it is out there when mom 'n dad turn you loose. Seriously, Dixie Girl, recognize that your parents have been there and done that. They blew some chances and made some serious mistakes and, because of that, they do know a thing or two that you don't.

One day, you'll be a mom. Somehow, I suspect that you will be a good one.

Younglobo, you are now, have always been, and ever will be an exception to that rule - even if your taste in drivers does run to the "Little Twerp" side, who fall right into it =+++.
