I'm 45 years old been interested in the CW for some time. Once I can afford uniforms I plan to hook up with a local reenactment group

Hello, and welcome!! I would advise finding a reenacting unit now, so you can participate in all the 150th events. If you don't have gear, a good unit can "piece" together enough stuff for you to borrow. Also, when buying gear, you don't have to buy it all at once, so your cash outlay won't be as great all at one time. Good luck!! Have fun!! Make some GREAT freinds in the reenacting community!!
