OK...time for another top 5 list here.

 1) Andes chocolate mints.

2)Those pink wintergreen mints (take me back to childhood and remind me of my beloved Grandfather)

3)The orange marshmellow circus peanuts (we called them "school buses" for some reason that completely escapes me now)

4)Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

5)Dark chocloate-any dark chocolate-all dark chocolate.

OK...off to the drugstore candy counter....

Regards,

Jana

While not candy:

1. Fry bread & Wojapi.
2. My wife's 1860's era donuts.
3. Mexican fried ice cream.
4. My stepmoms lemon cake.
5. My aunt's ice cream cake.

I'm not a big fan of candy; I prefer real food like pies n cake.

I even tried to double up on my share. Did I mention Switzer's Licorice (black only) and Necco Wafersd?

That must be Brit stuff, Roger. Some of them sound interesting.

Now I have to ask, are any of you getting your computer talking about whatever is under discussion? For some reason, this piece of doodoo is talking to me.

This started a few moments ago, and from whence did it come?

Disconcerting. I wonder if I asked a direct question?

This is totally wierd! I'll type something and it will follow! Any ideas?

How did I stumble on a something strange? Javal? You've been playing with me!

This is wierd! I'm typing nonsense and there is this voice that repeats what I'm typing! When I hit a key or or type a word, it tells me what I'm doing. Audibly!

Joe. What is this thing?

And I've just heard "enter, enter." And it tells me how many backspaces I've done.

What is this?

This is too wierd!

Gonna back out and come back in. Can't handle a voice that tells me exactly what I'm doing.

So Ole - You're hearing voices in your head and you're blaming ME !!!

Nothing here causing it. You using Windows? Sounds like you somehow turned on the speech synthesizer ( I think it's found in Office, but not sure).

Joe:

That must be it. Errant fingers and all. It's gone now. But at the time, it messed with my mind something fierce. There is no way I can recreate the situation; nor would I care to. This piece of electronic doodoo gets scary sometimes. I try to stay within the parameters I know about. Sometimes, a misfingering vaults me into unkown territory.

At the very least, we both like "Good 'n Plenties" and chocolate covered cherries. Last time I was in the grocery store and looked at the price per each, I passed. I will not pay 20 cents for an enjoyable bite of chocolate which will reveal a clear liquid surrounding a cherry. Hedonistic I am not. They can stuff their cherries.

Dixie Girl. If you're ever up this way, let me know and I'll make for you a lemon meringe you'll never forget. Dixie does not have a lock on a good pie.

Doesn't fit into the description of candy but what the h l:
1. pecan pie (pronounced pecan not what you have under your bed for you northern folks)
2. fried pies (any fruit will do)
3. white chocolate bread pudding (especially the one that I make with rum or whiskey sauce)
4. brownies
5. black forrest cake

Of course these are my dream sweats since as other board members I'm of the age where I cannot partake of them as I would like. Currently on a diet and exercise plan and running (up to 21-miles a week and training for a 1/2 marathon).

I like a good old Hershey bar too...melted and smushed between two grahm crackers and a fire roasted marshmallow.  Tastes best in the woods.
