I could describe this article, but after you read it you'll see why no one would believe me without seeing it for themselves....

One strange story if it is true.  Amazing what some people do.  Wonder what she did all day?

Maybe it was like Lethal Weapon II, with no Riggs around to relieve the situation.

We had a worse situation right here in Florida, if you dare to imagine it. A massively obese woman had come to the point she could no longer walk or be moved so she remained on her sofa for I don't know how many years and just did her business into the sofa without getting up. When authorities finally did discover her, her skin had grown right into the sofa and all that "stuff." The smell was said to be so bad the rescuers wore gas masks. I'll see if I can find a link to the news story.

(I found two similar stories. One is in England, but the one I knew about is very close to where I live.)

shallow end of the gene pool folks.

Also how do these folks support themselves?? (financially I mean , usually I use my arms for support if I have too when going # 2) LOL can't believe I went there!!!

Oh wait maybe these people had lil kids like me and the bathroom is the only place of solitude.

That is so funny. I actually believe you may be right about her intentions.

It doesn't really say much for us as a nation, but this kind of stuff (and weirder) is going on all the time. Just make friends with some first responders - cops, paramedics, firefighters - particularly when they are having choir practice. You will find this one pretty mild by comparison. By the time they're done telling you some more tales (that never get reported), you'll be ready to sign the planet over to the racoons.

You know what occurred to me last night as I was trying to fall asleep? The woman in question had to have SLEPT on the toilet. I just am incapable of imagining how anyone can sleep on a toilet. (Maybe drunks know.:D) Furthermore, she voluntarily slept there night after night. How do you do that? The whole thing is just so weird.

Well, as Sam Grant said--it must have been a really good book.

OK I will agree with Big Powell. After26 years as a State Trooper my best case is this. A man who was so obese he removed the front seat of a 1965 Bonneville and sat in the rear seat so he could fit betweeen the seat and the steering wheel.  He eventually got to the place he never left his bed. When he passed away (the coroner estimated approximately 3 days) the fire dept. cut out a window and winched the body onto a rollback wrecker. It was covered with a tarp and trasported to Cincinatti which is about 50 miles. To a mortuary with a crematorium. They refused to creamate as the fat once liquified would have extinguished the gas jets. So the county buried him in potters field in a septic tank as no vaults were available that would accomodate the bulk.
