It's being reported that both Senators Byrd and Kennedy collapsed at the Congressional lunch today. Reports are rather contradictory at the time. And please note: this is NOT a thread for smart-ass political snark. Just to wish them the best,

So sad , Kennedy was looking so good earlier in the day. I wish him well. Last I heard he was improving . Couldn't believe Byrd is 91 years old .

Last I heard, it was mostly fatigue. There were reports that Kennedy was awake, alert, and joking even though he has to spend the night in the hospital. I wish them both well.

i know who Senator Kennedy is but i have no clue who Senator Byrd is....can someone tell me who he is?
