That's such a beautiful story, so nostalgic... I remember catching lightning bugs too when I was growing up. I'm so glad there wasn't an overwhelming amount of technology then (not like today thank God; though there was commodore 64--which had the best computer games ever, so much better than the garbage out there today). I remember how I loved running around outside catching bugs and stuff like that with my brother; once we went into this field behind this cemetary that was across the street from us, and we found killdeer there! I couldn't believe it! Now whenever I see those birds, it always reminds me of that time. Those were the days! Those days and college--definitely the best years of my life.
