I found it on ebay, it's a 2005 release and I am curious about its realsim, and conformity to actual history.  Is it strictly fun, or can it be a learning experience?  Can it be played by one against the computer.

Needless to say I'm considering purchasing it.

 thanks!

I have this, actually. The graphics aren't anything special, and it's not terribly accurate. Yes, you can play against the computer, but I found it hard to figure out so I stopped playing it. It's not very fun, but it does feature actual events each turn. I prefer Ageod's American Civil War, which gives a very accurate and detailed presentation of the war. You can also play the Gettysburg campaign individually, though it doesn't feature individual battlefields. Hope this helps!
