"Numbers" is a good show. It is now in its third season, so I presume that a fourth season is being planned. In the show, the lead charatcers use mathematics to solve crimes. It is what I call an intellectual crime show, because of its use of mathematical equations and theory. I hope that the producers can find Civil War reenactors to fill their needs.

PVT- Don't start that Obama/Osama juvenile crap on a Civil War thread, or anywhere else on the board. The actor thread you're looking at is several years old.

Dear Jason, For variety and perhaps a subplot, you might consider "enlisting" a woman Civil War soldier. There are a number of women who reenact them. So far about 300 women have been documented who: a) disguised themselves as men and fought; b) were daughters or mothers of regiments and often on the field of battle, nursing under fire; c) were battlefield nurses. Then, of course, there were the couriers, scouts, guides, detectives, contrabandists, spies, guerrillas and female bushwhackers and more. See the books: Women on the Civil War Battlefront and They Fought Like Demons. So far there has been absolutely no visual mass media attention given these heroines who all volunteered, some teenagers and some serving in several regiments, having been discovered and kicked out of previous ones. BTW, I'm a big fan of your show. C. Kay Larson, author South Under a Prairie Sky: The JOurnal of Nell Churchill, US Army Nurse & Scout, a work of fiction
