What were the lessons learned by the Union Army (besides "Don't let spectators come watch your battles") because of First Manassas, and were any of these lessons taken to heart and corrected? Pam

Don't throw your men into the battle piecemeal, don't advance artillery without infantry support, and don't expect miracles from men who have received very little training.
