With the weekend update saying sunny and warm, I am putting some seeds and plants in this weekend.  Hope to get some corn and few tomato and eggplants in as well as cabbage and peas.  I would have had the peas and cabbage in earlier but it has been so wet this spring and I have been tied up coaching high school softball as well.

Anyone else started planting yet?

DD -

Got a week of 70's and even 80's coming up, so yes, lots of planting will be done. In Lauries outside garden, peas went in last week. This week peppers (hot and sweet), maters, eggplant, carrots, lettuce, brocoli, brussel sprouts, etc.

I'll be transferring my indoor herb garden from their starter pots to the "bathtub garden". Looking forward to the bounty

Still too wet to dig in these parts. Maybe this weekend.

Up on the Tennessee Cumberland Plateau.

My wife writes a gardening article in the local newspaper so she has been all over the garden this last month Carrots, swiss chard, lettuce, beats and spinich about three weeks ago.

Last week potatoes, bush beans, and the corn saw some dirt.

Lots of starters left to go in, looks like a small green forest in the shop windows waiting for their chance to put down some roots.

We had a big frost last night, going to be 87 tomorrow!

Plan to do some corn, sunflowers (food plot), and start setting up for pole beans Saturday!  After dealing with the kids at school and coaching it will be nice to play in the dirt.
