It would take a lifetime and more to study the CW in depth and it seems the more I study the more I want to know. Of course there are some members on this site that are a wealth of information about anything you may want to know and all you have to do is ask. I love reading anything done by Shelby Foote and better yet to watch him tell the stories. Other than Ken Burns CW does anyone know of a good DVD with Shelby Foote in it? Thanks Huma

I have those two tape sets and they are outstanding . When I was at Brices Crossroad the visitors center there has a video they show of The battle there. It is narrated by Shelby Foote. I don't remember if they sold copies or not. You might check with them. It was a very good film. Susan
