In my opinion the bayonette would have been lost. Once again excellent work on the painting. My wife has the talent there. I just make sawdust. Depends on the unit or the soldier. I know of one unit that carried their "Arkansas Toothpicks" throughout the war. P.L.Parault

We should maybe be directing our questions to the people from whom Roger buys the unpainted figures. I'm reasonably certain that Roger doesn't have the option of saying that "I want the one that doesn't have both the bayonet and the knife." Or, "I'd rather have the one that has the guy working his ramrod with two fingers rather than a whole fist." If Roger got the color of the trousers wrong, then we can and, perhaps, ought to turn on him. On the other hand, reactions to his posts do make for some interesting discussion. ole

I am sometimes able to leave equipment off or add it. Cutting away and resculpting the pose of a figure is beyond my modelling skills I am happy to receive any kind of comment about the uniform or equipment as long as it's constructive. If somethings without doubt inaccurate and I'm able I'll change it I will. If the figures promote interesting dicussion go for it, I won't be offended. One question, "I know of one unit that carried their "Arkansas Toothpicks" throughout the war." Which one, you never know this might be useful for a future project Roger
