What would happen to a signal tower after the Union or Confederate signalmen occupying it moved out to another position? Were the towers burnt, cut down, transported, or just left they way they were? If they were left the way they were, are there cases of rebs taking over a yank's signal tower or yanks taking over a reb's signal tower?
