I happened to be flipping through the channels this evening and stumbled across a PBS show about the battle of Antietam. It reminded me that I'd visited the battlefield this spring and was so moved that I wrote/recorded (in my living room) a song about it. You can hear it at http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?AID=617828&T=1485. It's a legitimate site for musicians. This is not a sales pitch, I have a day job with the government, it just seems a waste to write what I think is a decent song and not share it with people who might appreciate it. If you like the song you can drop me a line at [url=mailto Dwight Jenkins East Greenbush NY

Yeah, not quite Ken Burns, but a good effort. The camera made it look bigger than it is. Hard to believe so much blood in such a small place.
