You will run into that sort of thing no matter what color you wear. Part of the reenacting thing is to learn how to handle it -- peacefully if possible.

Offer Dixie Girl a wedge of lemon merengue pie. Can't tell. Might do you some good. (You can make a credible lemon merengue pie, can't you?)
