 Defender before I got so envolved with Civil War I was reading about and visiting Lewis and Clark sites .  Still a favorite subject with me.  Coulter was one of the men.  The one that amazed me the most though was George Droullard (Drewyer)  Hunter, Trapper, translator , amazing man.  Was killed a few years after the return to St. Louis.
