Great food. They really have 2 restaurants in 1. You can also stay in their Inn/B&B. I'll be staying there for the second time, later this year.
As for the battlefield, don't forget to go out to the East Cavalry Battlefield. It's 3 miles east of town. You might want to go soon as this is the area where they are trying to build a casino.
West of town you can find the Cashtown Inn. It's a B&B and can be seen in the film "Gettysburg." I guess they have movie stills and I believe Sam Elliott stayed there.
