 "Forrest, Wizard of The Saddle" is an excellent biography of the General. General Forrest is far and away my absolutely favorite general..
Stuart has the reputation because he was a Virginian, but Forrest hs the record. IMHO he was the premier calvaryman on either side... the stud duck!
