Something to consider... the difference between training and education.

Usually at the bachelor's level, we are discussing education.. at the post graduate level we are discussing training..
for example, Doc C. was educated as an undergraduate, then went thru medical training.. His work is in his area of training, not his area of education.
There are some exceptions to this, engineering and architecture come immediately to mind, but it is a good rule of thumb.

If you graduate with a major in history, you still have a BA and the opportunity to take the GRE or the LSAT or other graduate exams and can still select a career. I have done many things and never once used my degree in history, however I would not trade it for anything.
