 Susan, what I find so compelling about this story is that Mundy was a man dressed as a woman. I had read of numerous cases of women who disguised themselves as men in the war, but the reverse is such a stunning surprise.

Also I have seen a photo of him somewhere and he really was quite pretty!!!!:shock: Fascinating stuff for that time and age. Very daring.
