Yes, I discovered that one last year too because a descendant of Armistead lives here in town and I did some research for them, kind of interesting. I'm sure you know Armistead's uncle, whom he is buried next to in Baltimore, was the commader of Ft. McHenry during the Star Spangled Banner days.

Also relative to Sherman, his son Thomas is buried next to Alexander Stephens newphew, John Salter in the Jesuit cemetery in Grand Coteau, LA. They are not side by side as a sign of national reconciliation but because Salter was the next Jesuit to die after Sherman in 1933.
