 My grandmother can now rest in her grave. We not related by blood to W. T. Sherman. I'm related to R. E. Lee through his great grandfather's (Henry Lee) marriage to one of my acestors. This line is termed the Leesylvannia line. The Lee line linked to Armistead/Sherman is through Henry Lee's brother, Thomas. This line is termed the Stratford line, thus no family connection to mine.
