I recently visited Kennesaw Mountain for the 3rd time. I love seeing the original earthworks. However, I am disappointed at all the growth around it. I really don't mind some of the beautiful houses around the area but the strip malls are getting ridiculous. Hopefully, one day that battlefield can gain some of the lost land back. I never see a battlefield as lost. The hallowed soil is still there.
