When I was a kid in the '70's (not 1870's) my Dad gave me a tri-folded card with a penny glued to it. The penny also had Kennedy's head engraved on it. The tri-fold card had the exact same things printed on it as in Dixie Girl's first post. I thought it was interesting then, and, in actuality, I still think it's interesting!
