When you do the route from Chattanooga to Atlanta, be prepared to spend some time.. I did that one last summer with 3 old college buds and we spent a week, only got as far south as Kennesaw, and needed at least one more week to see the things we wanted to see... There is so much that it is easy to become overwhelmed to the point that many compromises get made that should not be made.
