I am a big fan of Creedence Clearwater Revival as well as its lead singer, John Fogerty. He has a new CD out called Revival which is very good (in fact, I'm listening to it now). Also, you might check out Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson, Mamas and the Papas and the Band. All are really good.
