and the music lets us relive it.
Because of my hearing, I have trouble with lyrics especially of the new music, but I can remember the lyrics of the old tunes and can enjoy them still.. however they can get me into trouble.
Creedence did "Bad Moon Rising". I have to associate words and "bad" and "moon" have no association so there would be no reason for me to put those two words together...
For years and years, I thought the chorus was "yeah the bathroom's on the right" instead of "yeah the bad moon's on the rise"... it was only when I saw the lyrics in print that I realized my mistake... I imagine others were convinced I was on drugs... TRUE STORY
