I recently returned from a trip to West Virginia to celebrate my 40th birthday. The trip included stops at West Virginia Wesleyan College (their library contains personal papers of my g-g-grandfather, LT Bunten), West Virginia State Wildlife Center in French Creek (Bunten's hometown), Carnifex Ferry Battlefield State Park (we stayed in a cabin within walking distance), and Post Chapel Cemetery in Crawford (final resting place of many relatives including LT Bunten).
