Johan , Jackson was also wearing a black raincoat at the time he was shot so his uniform was not seen. Jackson was struck by three .57 caliber bullets. Jackson sustained severe wounds to the left arm and minor wounds to the right hand. He was taken to a field hospital near the battlefield, where his left arm was amputated. Susan
