I'm back from a quick trip from out of the country and have just read the recent postings. Thanks again for the kind words about the maps.

Shiloh is and always has been my favorite battlefield to visit. In addition to the great people at the book store, the staff there has always been more than available to answer any of my amateur historian type questions. Woody Harrell and Stacy Allen are two of the best NPS people around - extremely helpful in the building of the map. When doing research, the ground at Shiloh "spoke to me", and I will never forget that feeling. The land, the people, the distance from a major city or highway, and the new interpretive center at Corinth - Shiloh is just a good place to go to study a battle.
