There was much conjecture in the 20th Century that Mr. Lincoln suffered from Marfan Syndrome. (Dr. Marfan did not describe the condition until 30 years after Lincoln's death).
In recent years, this conjecture has been somewhat discredited. At this point in history, we will probably never know.
