|Nice editorial once again Joe. I still remember one you wrote about the Franklin city council. That was right after 9/11 and one detail I remember is that in a meeting you made mention that one council person asked, "what would keep a terrorist from blowing us away?" Or something like that.
How ironic that Franklin is now a role model for preservation and Murfreesboro keeps tearing up their precious resources. Thank goodness these whack jobs never got their hands on Shiloh, Ft. Donelson, or Chattanooga.
BTW, had anyone contacted the CWPT about this property?
Since this property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, I believe they had to get permission to demolish it. They weren't stupid enough to demolish it without the required permission, were they?
