I saw the Cyclorama in Atlanta first on a trip around the country. I was so impressed with painting , the diorama that was constructed in front of the painting and the presentation. The "sounds and light" show. So I was so looking forward to the Gettysburg Cyclorama. Boy was I disappointed. Shabby building . A presenter that didn't seem to have his heart in the presentation of what was on the cyclorama. A very damaged, faded and in one spot totally missing panel cyclorama. An attitude of hurry up and finish looking so next group can come in. I actually bought the book so I could see what I had just "seen". Hopefully in it's new home and with restoration it will not be a poor second to the Atlanta Cyclorama.
