 I just read thru this older thread.  Interesting.  I always found reenactors to be good teachers.  Always got my questions answered intelligently and politely.  A big 'Thank You' to all you reenactors out there. 

younglobo:  2500 lb qtr horse?  Does he just look that big or are you planning on going medieval on us?  If it's for real, you better put that hoss of yours on a 1000 lb weight loss plan pronto....Never heard of putting crushed oreos on a lemon meringue pie.  Wait a minute...don't tell me...have been feeding that stuff to that big ole hoss of yours!;)
