Have to agree with Bama, CKL. Stand Watie was no more a guerilla than was NB Forrest and JS Mosby. His job was also to tie up Federal troops with raids. Guerillas, in my understanding, might raid Federal installations, but might as often carry their hostility to civilians. ole
