Again, I am compelled to ask the same question that I posed earlier: who is going to pay for it?
And how do we rid ourselves of Maxwell, who is the worst director I think I have ever seen?

Eric....IIRC the option Maxwell had on LFM lapsed some time back and that would mean the property would be available. The problem in reality is that Ron has made two films of the trilogy (one ok and the other a monumental disaster). I cant imagine anyone, either a director or financial investor, wishing to take on the 3rd chapter. Its not like this is a successful franchise like the Harry Potter series. Way too much baggage here. The answer to your question is that no one is going to invest in a project to bring LFM to the big screen or the small one.
What I would love to see is a remake of Red Badge of Courage, either a movie or mini series ala Band of Brothers. I can dream I guess
