A few years back on a family vacation to Lake of the Ozarks, everyone in the party went on a side trip to Branson while I went on a solo excursion to Wilsons Creek and Pea Ridge. At each battlefield, I parked at the VC and hiked all over each park. One of the best weekends of my life.
